On a perfect August 1st, Lauren and Doug’s day finally arrived. Recently, Lauren and Doug moved to Colorado so they were planning most of their wedding from out of state. Which we all know it’s difficult enough to plan a wedding when you live close to your venue. Alongside the help of their family, friends, Margaret Pisacich of The Four Seasons Biltmore and their amazing Coordinator, Jamie of Wild Heart Events, Lauren and Doug pulled off an incredibly stunning Santa Barbara wedding.
Lauren and her friends filled the gorgeous bridal sweet with the sounds of music and laughter. When it came time to getting into her dress, her mother and sister helped her get ready and with tears of joy in her eyes, the reality started to sink in that Lauren was about to marry the love of her life. The most precious part? Doug hand carved a wooden picture frame with the sweetest love note enclosed for her. It was a heart warming and lovely gift. I even teared up a bit!
All of the guests made it to their beautiful circular ceremony site, Doug stood in the center and as Lauren approached him, you could see the sheer look of bliss that was on his face. Lauren and Doug vowed their love, thanked each other for never having to doubt that love and promised to be by each others sides for the rest of their lives.
The overwhelming amount of happiness that I saw between them, the kindness that they both posses and the pure love that they share, was incredibly beautiful to document.
Lauren and Doug, you have a lifetime of happiness ahead of you and I wish you all of the best as you begin this new chapter of your lives. Your love is truly something taken right out of a storybook and I am so happy for you both.
With love and appreciation, Britt

As the sun began to descend, giving off a beautiful warm glow, Lauren and Doug’s ceremony began. They said their vows and made promises of love and devotion to one another and it was nothing less than incredible.
They sealed it with a kiss.
Now this is official.
The love from their friends and family radiated throughout their entire day.
The The Four Seasons Biltmore with its beautiful lush gardens, its beach entrance, alongside its gorgeous Spanish architecture, felt like a dream.
The night was filled with amazing music by Justin Claveria and his band who got everyone moving on the dance floor.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to all of the vendors who made this day possible, the beautiful Four Seasons Biltmore Resort and of course to Lauren, Doug and their amazing friends and family. You really made us feel welcome and I cannot thank you enough for letting me document your special day.
